“Take Five” is a jazz standard composed by saxophonist Paul Desmond and originally recorded by the Dave Brubeck Quartet in 1959. What I play in the video is based on an arrangement by John Zaradin. This can be found in the book called “Popular Songs for the Classical Guitar”. 1986 I made many changes to John Zaradin’s original arrangement, including the basic feel. Lots of notes have been left out and others added to make it easier to play.
